The INMARTECH 2016 Organizing Committee has decided to hold the 10th INMARTECH symposium in Grieghallen. Grieghallen is centrally located downtown in Bergen city, and is known for their national and international arrangements.

The Inmartech 2016 Organizing Committee is very happy to introduce the key note speaker, Dr. Ole Arve Misund, the National Institute of Nutrition and Seafood Research (NIFES). Ole Arve was asked since he has always taken a keen interest in our research vessels and the scientific instruments and equipment used. He also played a key role in the preparations of the current renewal of our research vessel fleet in Norway.

Bergen was founded in 1070 by King Olav Kyrre sailing into the harbor, and has ever since attracted people from all quarters of the world. Throughout its history Bergen has been a leading international trade and shipping town.
